Leisure tips

Rothenfels castle - a special architectural complex.

True luxury means concentrating on the essentials. This philosophy of "less is more" was responsible for the design of the architectural complex that gained Rothenfels castle internatinal renown. The rock seems to be peering over the Main valley and the medieval village of Rothenfels on the eastern rim of the Spessart with curiosity. An ideal spot for the castle, the foundations for which were laid in 1148, with a refreshing wind blowing over it. Forests, meadows and fresh air, all at the castle doorstep. The way the old walls and modern architecture come together is a perfect backdrop for bringing children's dreams to life. At the same time, the atmosphere is inspiring for conferences and seminars.
